Ferdio was trusted with visualizing and communicating Fødevarestyrelsen's strategy to employees and external partners, with sustainability at its core.

As lead designer, I developed an illustration style that fit their brand guidelines and the campaign theme and created illustrations adaptable across formats.  The illustrations made the abstract, strategic goals easier to understand and remember. I designed the layouts for the main strategy publication, a condensed mini version, several infographics, and the internal learning strategy document.

Finally, I worked on an animated explainer video, for which I created the storyboard and art-directed the animation. 

The strategy in animation

The strategy holds a lot of information, and it was worth creating a short animation that explains it in a minute. I created and illustrated the storyboard and collaborated with an animator to bring it to life.

The result was a coherent visual language — icons, illustrations, infographics, and layouts working together to make a complex strategy easy to grasp on every format.
