How AI Scales Design for Marketing Teams

If you’re on this page, you’re likely exploring how AI can help marketing teams work faster and scale design output. I’ve been actively testing different tools and workflows, and this page documents my learnings, focusing on practical use cases, time savings, costs, and limitations. I use Figma and Weavy for design, and ChatGPT to support content development. The visuals shown here are hypothetical, but the workflows and impact reflect real marketing scenarios.

Static Visuals at Scale

Challenge
Campaigns often require dozens of variations across audiences, formats, and messages. Producing them manually is slow, prone to mistakes and design can quickly become a bottleneck.

Solution & Impact
I created templates in Figma, populated them using spreadsheets and generated ready-to-use campaign assets automatically. This turned a repetitive, manual task into a reliable system. Assets can be produced in minutes, layouts remain consistent, and the risk of copy-paste errors is eliminated. It allows the team to move faster, test more variations, and scale campaigns without increasing design workload.

AI-Generated Promo Videos

Challenge
Video is one of the most effective campaign formats, but also one of the most resource-intensive. Even a simple UGC-style promotion, where someone speaks to camera and invites viewers to perform and action would normally require filming, editing, and coordination. The effort multiplies when creating variations for different audiences.

Solution & Impact
I built a workflow in Weavy that extracts style from reference photos, generates personas aligned with the target audience, and produces production-ready videos. The script and product details (f. ex any giveaways) can be updated easily, new versions take minutes to create. This makes it possible to test messages, localize campaigns, and scale video output without traditional production overhead.

Use Cases in Development

Longer-Form Ad Video

Beyond short UGC-style clips, I’m working on a workflow for longer advertising format with more complex storytelling. The focus is on structuring narrative, pacing, and visual consistency while keeping production scalable.

AI-Powered Brief Creator

This concept supports creative project management. It connects an LLM to a defined tone of voice guide, product differentiators, audience personas, pain points, and technical asset requirements (formats, sizes, timelines, deliverables). Marketing managers can generate structured, validated briefs for design, reducing back-and-forth and saving clarification time. The system can also draft ad copy, support longer-form content, and flag missing or inconsistent inputs before production begins.
